Tidsvenderen
During my time at TimeWinder, a nostalgic festival, I had the opportunity to work with the marketing team and volunteers to create Tidsvenderen (The Time Turner), the festival's official newspaper. Tidsvenderen provided guests with up-to-date information, including reviews, photographs, fun facts, and exciting gossip about the event.
As the designer and editor in chief, I was responsible for designing the newspaper's logo, typography, layout, and overall visual identity. The logo was crafted to embody the festival's essence, combining elements of an old pocket watch with an industrial chimney, and encapsulating Tidsvenderen’s slogan "News on time!”. This design perfectly reflected the spirit of TimeWinder.
In preparation for the event, I carefully planned and established the newspaper's layout and design, setting a strong foundation for each edition. However, the true creativity and customization came to life during the event where I designed the newspaper live, building upon the pre-set foundation. This dynamic approach allowed me to customize each version to match the unique stories, article lengths, image sizes, and more, creating a one-of-a-kind reading experience for the visitors.
The result was a series of diverse and captivating editions of Tidsvenderen, each tailored to capture the essence of TimeWinder as it unfolded.
